These stories are told by each family member's recollection and told in their own words. Nothing has been exaggerated or made up in any way.

Just to give you a little background about what inspired me to create this diary of paranormal events experienced by our family. For years our family would gather together on my mother's front porch and share such stories as you are about to read.

Everyone in the family knew my mother's house was haunted and living there until I was 23, I had several encounters myself. When I got married and moved into a home of my own. I began having what I believe to be supernatural experiences.

My husband the skeptic, decided that he would give me some peace of mind by contacting a psychic, so that she could better explain what might be going on in our house and he could then assure me "It was all in my head" or was it?

What he did find out was due to the extraordinary events, she (the psychic) believed that the encounters were not associated or coming directly from the house itself, but more than likely attached to a person living in the house.

Here's where the process of elimination came in handy obviously he'd never experienced any ghost encounters prior to our marriage (except in my mother's house), so therefore, that left me. After hearing this, I came to the conclusion that something might of followed me from my mother's house.

After selling our first home and purchasing the house we live in now, Again, the experiences began happening right away. Now I was sure something was following me!

After a few years of me sharing these supernatural experiences with family members and friends and several ghostly encounters witnessed by other family members. I'm convinced "My house is haunted!"

My final conclusion to this introduction is this maybe some people do possess some sort of sixth sense, perhaps that's the reason so many of our family members have had so many experiences with ghosts and the supernatural.

Is it a genetic trait, who knows?. All I know is this....if it's not a genetic thing, then everyone who has ever stepped foot into my mother's home, at one time or another, probably never went home alone!
